I believe in providing sound, evidence-based nutrition advice that not only nourishes the body but reduces risk of disease. I spend a lot of time researching and investigating nutrition topics. If a new recommendation comes out I don’t just believe it, I research it until I feel confident that I have the best answer. I don’t care who the information is coming from or how well known they are, I look into it myself. I know there is a vast amount of nutrition information floating around out there and a lot of it is based on money and greed so it’s not coming from a good place. When I give advice or recommendations, people can feel confident that they are getting the right advice for them and its coming from a good place.

One-on-one Nutrition Consultations– available in person

Initial Consultation– 90 minutes- This is an in-depth assessment of your condition that includes a review of your medical records, lab work and your food log. You will be given a personalized plan and guidelines to follow that will allow you to make important strides in improving your health. In addition, you will receive a detailed body composition analysis.

Follow-up– 45 minutes- This is for those individuals that have already had an initial consultation. This appointment is to follow up on your progress, identify barriers & address any questions or concerns. The follow-up visit is reserved for more advanced education that may be required for your condition.  You will bring any new labs and a three-day food log with you.

Weight Loss Program– 4 visits (once a month for 4 months)- This program is designed for those that want to lose body fat in a healthy way while increasing muscle. You will learn how to make lifestyle changes that will make your weight loss permanent and safe. This program includes blood testing that will tell us what foods you may need to remove from you diet in order see fat loss. In between your monthly visits you will have access to the dietitian via text messages for additional support and questions. This is only available for individuals in the weight-loss program. In addition, your body fat and muscle percentages will be assessed at each visit. This is the best way to evaluate your progress.

Healing Program– This program is a comprehensive 6 month (6 visits) program designed for those with one or more chronic illnesses. It is designed to identify the root cause and reverse the condition naturally instead of only addressing the symptoms.  The Healing Program is for individuals with:

  • GI disorders: IBS, IBD, GERD, Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, SIBO, candida, short bowel syndrome, bowel incontinence, diarrhea, constipation, etc.
  • Autoimmune disorders: Hashimoto’s, Grave’s, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Sjogren’s.
  • Neurological: Tinitus, migraines, vertigo.
  • Other: Insomnia, fibromyalgia, eczema, psoriasis, diabetes, brain fog, chronic sinus problems, allergies, anxiety.

The conditions listed above are rooted in the intestines, unfortunately they are not always treated that way, which is why people with these conditions get put on more and more medications that address symptoms and not the underlying cause. I call that lazy medicine. This program is designed to help you heal and get your life back.

Both, blood and stool testing are included with this program. The testing is done up front so I have a big picture to work with so I can narrow down the problem quickly and let the healing begin. Once the issue is resolved you will learn how to care for your body so this never happens again.

Nutrition Check-up– This 3 visit package is for individuals without a chronic disease. I find that most people’s nutrition information is very out-of-date or out of balance. There is very conflicting information out there regarding diet and nutrition making it difficult to navigate. Making changes in your diet does not happen in one hour, it’s a process. I have found that we can cover all the bases in three visits. This program is designed for those who:

  • Need a nutrition check-up.
  • Feel something is not working and need to revamp your diet.
  • Want to gain muscle but are otherwise healthy.
  • Are vegetarian or vegan or want or begin that process.

Food Intolerance Testing– This testing identifies relevant foods associated with many types of chronic inflammatory and metabolic disorders such as migraines, digestive problems, GI disorders, eczema, joint pain etc. This is an inexpensive & simple blood test that can take the guess work out of therapeutic diet planning.

Micronutrient Testing– Micronutrient testing measures how micronutrients are actually functioning within your white blood cells.  These tests allow nutritional assessment for a broad variety of clinical conditions, general wellness and the prevention of chronic diseases including arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular risk, diabetes, various immunological disorders and metabolic disorders.

* Most insurance companies do not cover webcam consultations and require an in-person visit.
